I love to eat full fat yogurt. I eat it everyday for breakfast together with home-made choc chip granola. It has no added sugar or any additional ingredients and it is so naturally sweet and luscious.
For a long time I’ve only eaten full fat yogurt. I find it far more filling, tasty and satisfying. A breakfast with a good portion of natural yogurt really does fill you up until lunch.
As many of you know, I’m always finding new ways to cook and eat courgette spaghetti. I regularly eat it for lunch and/or dinner and I’d even eat it for breakfast if I could.
Had a few people telling me that the book was out of stock. Sorry about that…totally out of my control!

I can’t tell you how excited I am to announce my new book. It’s been an incredibly exciting new adventure for me. I’ve been itching to tell everyone about it for months and months but it’s all been under wraps.
There is a group of superfoods called SIRT superfoods that are very special indeed. These foods contain activators for the genes that regulate our metabolism and promote fat burning. In fact, they trigger the exact same genes that are triggered by the 5:2 diet but without the hunger pangs.
Had a fabulous time presenting at York Food Festival yesterday. The atmosphere around the festival was hot and buzzing. A good crowd came to watch me in the demonstration tent. I cooked Whitby Fish croquettes on a watercress salad with balsamic glaze followed by Mini Chocolate Pear Pie. I have to say both were delicious and really well received.
Competition runs until the end of January. Two copies are available to win.

Don’t know if you got a chance to see it but there was a great pull-out in The Times newspaper on Saturday. It featured some of my favourite low calorie/5:2 fast diet recipes.
Very excited to announce that my brand new book, featuring 140 new deliciously simple recipes is released on January 2nd 2014.
The recipes are tailored to the seasons: lots of soups and stews in winter with salads and grilled meats aplenty in summer. Try courgette “pizza” bites, chicken tikka masala and even dark chocolate souffle. Buy the book here – it is available as a paperback and an ebook.
If you try out the book, please leave me a comment here and let me know what you think.
